Unlike many fast-moving projects where the colour choices for the entire scheme are pre-selected ahead of construction, the colour palettes for the kitchens on this development were chosen by the home-owners.

Fielders Quarter at Barking Riverside is a stunning waterfront development of new homes in Barking, our 4th phase with Bellway Homes on this 27 phased site.

Scope

To provide Private, Shared Ownership and Rental apartment kitchens that met the clients exacting design intent.

• To provide different specifications to each tenure to suit the client’s design brief.
• The package also included the supply and installation of solid work surfaces and appliances.

Highlights

With just 4 weeks from call-off to install of the kitchen, material planning and coordination were key to the success of this project which at its peak, has been installed at 20 kitchens per week.

Despite being a multi-storey development, there were no external hoists used during the construction phase. All kitchens and appliances had to be palletised and craned to loading platforms or roofs. Towards the end of the build, internal lifts and stairwells were used for distributing materials to complete the kitchens.
